Source to Contract (Strategic Sourcing) and Spot buying (outsourcing), are our core competence as we take care of the end-to-end procurement cycle on a project basis commonly known as the Tender process. Strategic sourcing
Our Category leads use their expertise in market intelligence, analytics and knowledge of millions of suppliers to generate savings that directly feed your bottom line pipeline. We go beyond the ‘price tag’ reduction in favor of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction. We deploy Spend Consolidation and Demand Management to continuously improve processes so that cost savings is achieved.
Strategic Sourcing Consultancy Cycle
Our strategic sourcing consultancy process is aimed at creating value and cost savings for our clients. The client will only commit funds when they are convinced that the results have been achieved. DQS’ remuneration policy with clients on achieved cost savings is 40:60 ratio in favor of the client. The ratio can be negotiated.
Our strategic sourcing work covers all the clients spend and normally follow the following steps:

This is in two ways as per client’s requirements:
a) DQS execute and implement contracts using DQS’ staff only
b) Clients staff take the lead with DQS’ support as per below:
i) Phase I: DQS take a lead role through one on one coaching of client’s staff
ii) Phase II: DQS & Client’s staff work hand in hand in completing sourcing projects
iii) Phase III: Clients staff takes over with minimal intervention of DQS.
We make sure that when the we leave the client:
• The client’s staff have been moved from tactical to strategic buyers through an intensive DQS in-house training program on category management, strategic sourcing and contracting.
• The clients have the procurement process in place which includes all the required manuals, procedures and templates.
-Procurement audits are done to determine whether the jointly pre-set formulated objectives were achieved.
- DQS is accountable for the success or failure of the sourcing projects done as per 3. a) and b) above.
